  • 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and sliced into wedges
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss sweet potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper; roast on a baking tray for 25-30 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), sesame oil; brush onto the salmon fillet and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
  4. Bake salmon on a separate tray for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Steam broccoli florets over boiling water for 4-5 minutes until bright green.
